Good morning, y’all!

I get a lot of requests from people who want interior design advice and the most common statements I hear are “I just don’t know where to start” or “I have no idea what looks good.”  Honestly, it is a trial and error process for everyone including interior designers.  Yes, there are moments when you just know that a certain piece of furniture or decor will work in a space; but, for the most part, design is like putting together a puzzle.  A concept board is key to planning and keeping your goals on the right track.  If you find certain items that you love and want to be apart of your design, print a picture of these pieces and tack them onto a foam core board.  These pictures should be thought of as flexible and can be removed or repined.  The following picture is an example of a concept board that I found in Lonny Magazine.  Check out this online read for TONS of style inspiration!  It has something for everyone.
